This project is a great example of how owners of acreages can improve their landscape through small retentions. The berm is only 34m long and in a few years will be nearly invisible on the landscape. Though the watershed-wide impact is small, it creates large impact in the area, restoring wildlife habitat and increasing the infiltration of water into the soil.
